Now being offered for the first time! The complete Walker Brothers Trilogy together in one alpha billionaire romance series boxed set!

Release!: A Walker Brothers Novel (The Walker Brothers Book 1)
Trace and Eva’s story:

My name is Eva Morales, and I was one step away from being homeless when Trace Walker came into my life. I want to hate him because of my past, but I end up making what I consider a “devil’s bargain” with the arrogant young billionaire instead. Really, I have no choice. It’s either take the work he’s offering or starve, and I’ve been hungry long enough.

I didn’t think being his fake fiancée would be a difficult job, but it ends up more complicated than I ever imagined, and I see a whole new side of Trace once he lets his guard down. He’s haunted by his past–just like me, But there are things I can never tell him, secrets I don’t dare reveal.

Eventually, I find myself in a difficult situation because our volatile attraction to each other won’t be denied. Should I tell him the truth, or do I finish the job he’s paying me for and walk away with my secrets still hidden, my pride still intact? He’s paying me enough for this job to take care of myself once it’s over. I’ve always been alone, and I always thought I preferred it…until I met Trace. I’d have to put everything on the line to be honest with him, but he very well might be the first man who is worth the risk. Honestly, I’d be endangering more than just my pride. I could handle feeling like a loser, because I’ve pretty much felt that way my entire life. What really terrifies me is being vulnerable and the possibility of ending up with a shattered heart….

Player!: A Walker Brothers Novel (The Walker Brothers Book 2)

I may have moved from Texas to Colorado, but my reputation followed me–right along with my furniture. Everyone knows…I’m a player. Since I’m one of the billionaire Walker brothers, most of the world knows what I am. It’s not like I ever tried to hide it. I never cared about what other people thought about me. I lived to party…or I did until I realized what I really wanted to do with my life.

Now, I’m having one hell of a time convincing Paige Rutledge, our new attorney in the legal department at Walker Enterprises, that I’m more than willing to settle for just one woman in my bed, as long as that female is her. Unfortunately, she’s not buying it, but I’m not giving up. There’s never been a woman I couldn’t charm into bed if I wanted to. Problem is, I’ve never wanted one quite this badly, and the more I get to know her, the higher the stakes are for me. Luckily, I’m a gambling kind of guy.

Paige is uptight, driven, and totally hiding something. I want to find out her secrets, but when I do, they are nothing like I imagined. She confuses everything for me, but with her, I’m finding out that maybe I actually don’t mind if things get complicated.

What’s a guy to do when one female turns my life upside down from the moment I meet her? I have no idea what other men might do, but I’m determined to get what I want, and I’m not opposed to doing anything to achieve my objective.

Paige is mine, she just doesn’t realize it yet…

Damaged!: A Walker Brothers Novel (The Walker Brothers Book 3)

What happens when your entire future is destroyed in moments?

Dane

My name is Dane Walker, and I’m entirely, irrevocably damaged. I lost my whole life in the plane crash that killed my father and left me scarred, both physically and emotionally, barely clinging to life in a hospital as the sole survivor of the accident.. I wasn’t fit to function in the city, so I moved to my own private island in the Bahamas to lick my wounds alone.

I’d spent my adult life building up my solitary existence on Walker’s Cay.

I was fine with being by myself.

I was resigned to my fate.

But then I met her.

My brothers sent her; I wanted to send her away.

But…I couldn’t.

Overview

For those of you that have read my previous reviews, you may well have noticed an ongoing theme that pops up here and there – a love of books by J.S. Scott! I admit it, I’m a fan. (A big one.) So, when I saw that the Walker Bros books had been released as a trilogy box-set, I was there! I originally read all three stories when they were first released, but I enjoyed them just as much second time around.

The books follow the lives of the three Walker brothers. Trace, the eldest, leads the way out. He stepped up to take over the family business when their father was killed in a plane crash about 8 years ago. Next in line is Sebastian, who spent years partying hard until he finally settled back at the company with his big brother one year ago. And last is Dane. He was in the crash along with his father & suffered severe injuries in the accident. As a result, he has lived for the past 8 years on an island in the Bahamas, mostly by himself. But each of their lives is about to change in a big way!

The Books

Book 1 – Release!

Eva has hasn’t had an easy life, and it’s not getting any easier. In her own words, “I was poor, I was hungry, and I was desperate”. So, she goes to billionaire Trace for help. She wants to ask him to give her a job. Eva holds her head high as she sits in Trace’s waiting room for hours, hoping to finally be able to been seen by him, and trying to maintain her dignity while wearing a sad old t-shirt and torn jeans.

Her first impressions of Trace confirm everything she had heard about him, but nobody had warned her of how she feel when she first set eyes on him. Nor was she ready for the job offer that he made to her – to be his fake fiancée!

Trace is blunt, abrasive and bossy. But behind the bossiness is a caring and soft side that wants to take care of others. And Eva soon finds herself the focus of that caring. He might hide it behind demands and abrupt instructions, but Trace starts looking after Eva virtually within minutes of first meeting her.

While their path to romance might be a little rocky and rugged, but the attraction between these two is intense and quick. And I loved Trace’s spiky exterior that hid his soft underside.

This one was a one-sitting read for me, as I couldn’t put it down.

Book 2 – Player!

Sebastian only has to get one glance at Paige to know that he is drawn to her, and that is before he even knows her name. Paige, however, isn’t returning that attention – quite the opposite. Her first impression of him is that he is “a conceited asshole”, as she decides quite quickly that he is just another spoiled and entitled rich guy. But at the same time, she is somewhat confused by his apparent open friendliness.

Sebastian is having a totally different initial reaction than Paige. He is fascinated by her apparent lack of interest in him, as he is accustomed to women fawning all over his billionaire self.

Fortunately for us readers, Sebastian doesn’t give up easily. And as time passes and Paige begins to see the hard-working side of Sebastian, she begins to realise that he isn’t what she expected him to be and her early harsh opinions begin to waver.

Sebastian and Paige both have troubled pasts that they’re working to overcome. He has put his former party-boy lifestyle behind him, but regret for his past still lingers. But for Paige, her past is still with her. She is trying to move on, but she is weighted down by the traumatic events of her past.

Together, they start to work to find the strength that they will both need to overcome their pasts.

Book 3 – Release!

Dane is the youngest of the Walker brothers. He was only 18 years old when he was in the crash that killed their father, and he was severely injured and scarred as a result. Since the accident he has removed himself to an island in the Bahamas where he has lived virtually alone, separated from his family.

When his brothers send Kenzie to the island to be his new personal assistant, Dane is not impressed! His initial reaction is to shut down and reject her, send her packing, straight off his island. But when Kenzie admits that she has only $5 to her name, he can’t do it. He allows her to stay.

Kenzie doesn’t look at Dane as a scarred man & Dane can’t understand this. He keeps waiting for her to be horrified by his scars, but the reaction never comes. And as time passes, he realises she has her own issues that affect her own self-image to deal with too. Unexpectedly, they start to mend each other’s wounds.

Summary

I love love love these 3 brothers!! And something I especially enjoyed about this series was that as far as I was concerned, each one was better than the last. They are full of alpha men and strong women, with enough romance to make the toughest readers consider swooning. And those that like a strong dose of spice in your stories won’t be disappointed. The only sad part about it is that there are only three brothers & the series is over!

Thank you to the author J.S. Scott for sharing a copy of this e-book with me.
