Book cover blurb:
A chance encounter between a secretive billionaire and a plus size PR expert could be the perfect solution to both their problems—or a delicious scandal in the making—in New York Times bestselling author J.S. Scott’s new British Billionaires series…
I am the type of woman who always plays it safe. In my professional life as a public relations “fixer,” and in my personal life, especially when it comes to the opposite sex. Really, who needs the wild highs, and the I-want-to-die-because-he-left-me lows of a relationship? At least, that’s what I thought…until I met HIM.
Damian No-Last-Name-Given is sexy as sin, and I’d developed some kind of weird, instant attraction to him the moment he settled his chiseled body next to mine on a flight from London to Los Angeles. His sexy British accent did crazy things to my previously dormant female hormones, which had eventually led me to do the most impulsive thing I’d ever done in my entire life. I kissed him while everyone else in business class was sleeping. Or had he kissed me? All I knew was that we were both very willing participants, and that panty-melting embrace had rocked my entire world while it was happening.
Unfortunately, that moment of spontaneity would haunt me once I found out Mr. British Hottie’s true identity. He’d held his last name back for a reason. Oh no, I couldn’t make some once-in-a-lifetime misstep with an ordinary businessman. When I screwed up, it had to be one for the record books, and it had to happen with one of the most powerful men in the world. And, oh yeah, he also absolutely had to be the biggest man-whore on the planet.
Once I knew the truth, I could have easily convinced myself that the kiss wasn’t all that earthshattering, either—if Damian Lancaster hadn’t boldly swaggered into my office the very next day to apologize, and to make me a business offer I couldn’t possibly refuse…
Goodbye sanity; hello madness.
My Review:

Ok, so I’m approaching my review for this book a little differently to usual. At the time of writing this, my little progress counter at the bottom of my Kindle page says 22% – I haven’t even gotten half way yet! But I have just enjoyed reading the first portion of the book so much that I want to talk about it while it’s still fresh in my mind. It’s that good.
I’m now a bit stuck though. I don’t want to spoil a moment of it for you – I want you all to read Tell My You’re Mine for yourselves! So, instead of doing much describing about the story, I’m going to focus on telling you about my thoughts as I was reading it.
Nicole and Damian are the two main characters & they meet when they are sitting next to each other on a long-haul flight. (That’s not giving too much away.) From Nicole’s description (and reaction), Damian sounds gorgeous! But then he goes and does something small but silly, which puts him quickly into the ‘potential creep’ (or at a minimum, really rude) category. So, he has a bit of a battle to dig himself back out of that hole, because from his description of her, he thinks she’s pretty gorgeous herself. And I was absolutely cheering him on!
Pretty quickly, Nicole has got me liking her. She sounds ‘real’. And as she was texting with her best friend, I could absolutely imagine having a similar conversation with my own best friend. Nicole is really easy to relate to.
And Damian had me on his side really fast. He’s a bit smug, a bit arrogant, a bit insecure and a lot focussed – right at Nicole. I was drawn right in to how she would have been feeling, to have the sole attention of the tall, muscular, handsome man in the seat next to her, focussed solely at her. Added to it was the content of their conversation (which I can’t tell you about – no spoilers), as it only added to the intensity between the two of them.
As I was reading the interaction between these two, I was actually getting nervous for them. And writing this has made me want to know what happens next! So, I’m going back for more. Stand by for review, part two (hey, that rhymes…).
Ok, I’m back – and I just finished the book. And I think I’m a little bit in love. Damian is the leading man that every romance book should have. This book honestly reminded me why it was that I got so hooked on romance stories in the first place. I always love books by J.S. Scott, but I think this one has just taken top place as my favourite.
I absolutely loved this story. There so many things about it that were just ‘right’. Both characters had their insecurities and flaws, but neither of them were annoying. Both had their moments of angst, and I was completely drawn in, feeling their emotions with them. And the supporting cast were great! Not overpowering, but strong enough in their own rights that I felt that they were more than just ‘background furniture’ type characters.
Mark the release date down in your calendars – December 1st 2020. You’re not going to want to miss out on this one. As for myself, I’m not normally one to go back for a second read of a story, but for this one I might just make the exception.
Thank you to the author for my copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
